Acrobatic Circus Tricks with Brand Ambassador Brian

A new brand ambassador is born! Brian enjoys acrobatic activities with his wife, camping and backpacking, and sometimes surfing. He works as a programmer by day and turns into an acrobat at night!

Once he began researching wool, he had a few troubles… He had no luck finding a short sleeve like the Juno that he liked. Also, he saw “HUGE variation in quality among hoodies,” which is why he wanted to try ours. Before becoming a BA, he wore synthetic leggings when camping/backpacking or sports for leg coverage. He feared that these activities would be too hard on the fabric and would lead to holes/tears.

Gear Review

Brian’s initial impressions of his items, which he still proudly displays on Instagram while getting acrobatic:

“I was excited to receive my WoolPRO gear in the mail. I’ve collected various wool pieces over the past few years, after having such a great experience with a wool base layer I received as a gift. Opening the package I was pleasantly surprised by the box that the Juno t-shirt came in. I’ve bought a number of wool items that have come in nothing more than a bag with a shipping label on it, so it was nice to see a little extra care and protection being taken. I’ve worn and tested a number of base layers, and a number of outer layers, and this is among the best I’ve seen.

The weave is a very nice tight weave, it does not look like it will pull or pill easily. The stitching is clean and durable without any chafing or rubbing. Most surprisingly was just how soft it was. Often I expect to get two out of three in regards to durability, comfort, and aesthetic.

WoolPRO has completely surpassed my expectations in that regard as they’ve built products that have all three!

My Juno t-shirt and Astrobee hat came at the perfect time as I was blindsided by some last minute travel plans. Packing is usually a stressful endeavor, but not this time. First thing I reached for was my Juno knowing that it would be the perfect base layer for coping with the rigors of travel, and the big temperature swings I’ll face while traveling cross country. My Astrobee hat is already packed as well. I rarely need a beanie for the Central California winters, but with Pittsburgh lows predicted in the 30s, having some ear cover will be necessary.”

Brian is also back for Season 2, so his second review is coming soon… with his new hoodie!
